Rather than deliver numerous flyers, circulars and coupons throughout the quarter, the Corporation cut down on paper by creating one document to feature all events and promotions from its commercial services like Campus Dining and University Store. To encourage students to retain the calendar, it also included relevant and utilitarian information such as academic dates, athletic events and general holidays. The calendars were distributed as an insert in the student-run newspaper Mustang News with additional support for each promo and event with paid ads on social channels.
